Hunter Douglas has announced a strategic partnership with sun control experts QEF for the supply of specialist solar control products in Ireland.

The partnership will focus mainly on the supply and installation of the Hunter Douglas automated range of bespoke shutters and brise soleil, including motorised, sliding and folding shutters, in addition to its innovative, fully dynamic systems due to be launched later this year.

The alliance was brokered following the success of a number of projects where the two companies worked together, and both QEF and Hunter Douglas look forward to increasing market share by offering a diversity of sun control products in the Irish market.

Andrew Lee, UK general manager of Hunter Douglas Sun Control and Facades, said: "I'm delighted that we've managed to reach this agreement between the two companies.

"Hopefully it will put both Hunter Douglas and QEF on a very strong footing, providing the building blocks for us to become even stronger in the future".
